"SHALE OIL NOW" is a campaign which has been launched by Jon Moseley on June 30, 2008. Expenses so far have been paid by Jon Moseley, although the project plans to raise funds for advertising of the project, and desires considerable expansion, growth, and further developmet..
In addition to serving as Executive Director of "Shale Oil Now," Jon Moseley is also Executive Director of a project at the Public Policy Council. Jon Moseley studied physics at Hampshire College and the University of Amherst in Massachusetts, followed by a degree in Finance at the business college of the University of Florida.
People have asked for disclosure about any connections to the shale oil industry. There are no connections with any energy company of any kind, although we would be delighted to get offers! I think that the energy industry needs to do a better job of getting facts out to the public.
Note that it would not help the shale oil industry in any way to promote shale oil extraction if the project would not be successful and profitable. Promoting a project that loses money would not be a benefit to the industry.
Jon Moseley's only reason for involvement in this campaign is that his family lost a friend when Flight 77 slammed into the Pentagon, witnessed live by thousands of people in cars around the Pentagon and the surrounding office buildings. Moseley says: "I am fed up with America financing our enemies by sending our oil money to hostile governments."
